the gate is not always open, so plan on a little walk. half way down the well travelled road, there is a another trail to your right (from here it is 200 metres to the cache), make sure you find it, it is not really evident, with a bit of poison ivy, when the cache was placed there was a huge chokecherry bush to mark the entrance to the trail. once you find it, it is an easy walk. no bush wacking required. cache is only 20 metres off this trail.
we walk here a lot with the shelties. it is especially pretty in the fall. lots of wild turkey and deer of course.
