The night surrounds us, the corn is tall, from the darkness you can hear it whispering, whispering. Its long arms reaching toward the ditches, seeming to draw ever nearer the headlights as we trail down these back roads. No where do we see lights, not a sound but the corn. . . whispering. . . .whispering.
Okay, so hiding caches in the dark can be a tad eerie. Shotners! kept saying these tunnels of Corn felt like we were in a Stephen King story and something was going to leap out of the long rows. . . I could see her point. Of course, I was expecting something more along the lines of 10 pt buck and his mate. She kept on how eerie it was and I thought 'whatever'. That is until we stopped to hide this cache and the corn, oh my gosh the corn it is whispering to you and here you are in the darkness with only a small flash light beam to protect you. Eeeek!
Re-hide as well as you found if not better, why make easier on the next cacher then it was for yourself. J
May the sun be gentle upon your back.
May the bugs find you untasty.
May you encounter only friendly flora and fauna.
May your day of caching be exciting and memorable.
Oh, and thanks for adding team RedRock! Niki & Rich to your smiley list.
