This cache will take you to the Lakeshore Reservation. This used to be called LMP: Parks Tour 2 (Lakeshore Res. Strock Memorial.)
This cache will take you close to the Strock Memorial. The Strock Memorial, according to the Lake Metroparks Website, "...A memorial was dedicated on October 29, 1978, to Luanna Strock, wife of the park system's first naturalist, Don Strock. The memorial includes a sculpted sundial, a cable bridge, and a bronze cast of the area. The sundial was designed by nationally-known sculptor Carl Floyd of Madison. The bridge was donated by the Donum Fund. The Lake County Unit of the American Cancer Society dedicated a memorial sanctuary of plantings in the field north of the parking lot." Cache is placed with permission of Lake Metroparks.
