This used to be a busy little airport with skydive operations, scenic flights and even scheduled flights to Auckland. All services are now operating out of Kerikeri airport, about 20 minutes from here.
On one side of the fence you see what used to be the grass runway and next to the old, now overgrown carpark, you have the old skydive office.
To find this cache you don't need to climb the fence and don't need to chase any cows. But need to make your way through very long grass.
