This little picnic area near the beautiful Waitangi river invites you to have a rest or even have a picnic down here. Nearby is a very popular swimming hole that locals use during the summer months to cool off.
But be warned if the area floods this spot is completely under water and you only see the tops of the flaxes and trees.
This little micro is hiding up high to be sound and safe in case of any flooding in the area.
