Geocache Description:

This cache is on the old Phoenixville Column Bridge which is next to the recently renovated Phoenixville Foundry building. The bridge was built in 1871 and once carried a spur from the Pickering Valley Railroad. Founded in 1869, the railroad ran 11 miles from Phoenixville to the town of Byers, PA. The bridge is now part of the Schuykill River Trail, so take time to enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding area. It is not big enough to hold a pencil, (or has too much stuff in it :) ) so BYOP!!!!!!!!.

This is my first geocache. Hope you enjoy!!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO INFANTRY_CPT FOR FTF!!!!
