St George the Martyr's Church is unusual because it is an Art Deco church .
John Larkin (1850-1926) left a bequest in his will for a new church to be built.
This can be found as part of a BAT team cache loop around Brentwood measuring approximately 2.7 miles and containing 8 fairly easy to find caches. It is mainly on pavements with a few slightly "off road*"caches. Easy for families and convenient from the High Street. The route can be done in either direction from any start point.
