Lovely diversion off the A66 westbound towards Keswick. Spectacular views of Blencathra, Great Mell Fell and the Dodds.
Keep going on this road and it does take you back to A66, you go through a farm and sometimes the gate is closed, you are allowed through the gate but please remember to close it behind you.
