Street Art: Kaj ti stara radi Zadar? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

ArizonaSmith: Checking on this cache I realized that it is gone (again!), and since this is a regular thing (disappearance), I decided to archive this one.

I bit ćete u pravu.

Zadar!

(a bit difficult to translate in English, but I’ll try)
EN: Another stupid scribbling on Zagreb’s wall, you might think, and you would be right. This sentence in Croatian has no sense, literally it means “Yo mama is working/doing Zadar?” (Zadar is a croatian city, on the coast). It looks like a typical “yo mama” joke, so frequent in English language.
The buzz which followed this graffiti needs attention. There were questions on the internet about meaning of this graffiti. Many articles (Croatian only) were written, exact time when it was written has been pinpointed (between May and September of 2009.), and there is a Facebook group for comments, which already has fascinating 15000 likes!!!!

Top 5 probable explanations are:
1. A student from a close-by student dorm, under the influence of alcohol/weed/something heavier wrote this graffiti, and even he doesn’t know its meaning.
2. There is a headquarters of a Croatian daily newspaper just next door, and there are separate editions for various regions of Croatia. So, somebody’s mama is doing the Zadar edition of this newspaper.
3. Somebody’s mama is a whore, so it is implied that she did the whole Zadar area (or better, the whole Zadar area did her).
4. In Zagreb’s slang, “stara” is a nickname for Cibona (Zagreb’s basketball club), and Zadar is their all-time rival (obviously, from Zadar). So Cibona is winning over Zadar.
5. Missing space in the last word, but the result is still incomprehensible.

Btw, there is no correct solution, because the author is unknown.
