Merlin's Overlook II Traditional Cache

While Geocaching.com would like to continue to hold the location for you, doing so blocks other cachers from placing caches in the area. We feel that this cache has been disabled for a period of time exceeding what is reasonable for the area, and thus I regretfully must archive it.

If you are able to get out and replace the cache, simply drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. I will be more than happy to take a look at it to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

Geocache Description:

The posted coordinates are the NEW coordinates for this cache! You can drive to within 10 feet of this cache. Please rehide it well. A cache has been plundered at this area before. (Now in a slightly different location)

This cache is located at a local sceenic overlook for a major industrial business in Presque Isle County. After you find the cache, take a minute to climb the tower (only a few steps) and look at real life tonka trucks in action.

Only very small things will fit into this cache. Not exactly a micro cache, but a very small regular cache. Actually a large pill bottle,with a geocaching sticker on it. Please rehide well, as the original cache was plundered. Park so you obscure the view of the cache from the highway. If there are others anywhere around, do not attempt to locate this cache. It is a very open area, and will be lost agin. Make sure to re-hide it well. There is lots of bark and stones around to make sure it can not be seen from any angle. Thanks!
