The cache is located at an old miner's cabin on Whiskey Creek. The BLM has done a terrific job of maintaining this historical site and most visitors have followed suit by not vandalizing or defacing the property. Spend an hour here checking out the solar shower, the shelves of old supplies, the fruit trees that have been attacked by the woodpeckers, the poles that the bears have used for sharpening their claws, the canal system built for irrigation and mining, the cold-storage locker, the mining relics and much much more. Just downstream from the Rogue River Trail bridge over Whiskey creek you will find the old bridge site and a very nice spot to cool off on a hot day. Please practice CITO and help maintian the beauty of this place for future generations. You're looking for an ammo can full of swag. Enjoy!!
