First incentives and ideas about the necessity of building a new parish church in Dubašnica occur in people already at the end of the 18th century, primarily because of the many drawbacks of the old parish church of St. Apollinaris as they were piled up to that time. This is, in fact, the church that was located in the village Dubašnica which is today lost, amid the fertile fields of the same name, with the foundation since the 12th century and was already crumbling. The church was then still just renovated and in 1834. it is forbidden to worship God. New church of st. Apollinaris was built in 1857. At the same time as the church was built and a large bell tower of hewn stone and masonry height of 28 meters, only 13 meters from the church. The bell tower was built 1856.g. The church was rebuilt in 2007. The parishioners themselves renewed roofing, construction bells, sacristy, repaired the century old organ, repaired the roof and the window openings are set and new stained glass windows.
