Geocache Description:

A nice little park near my home.  I noticed it didn't have a cache of its own, so I decided to place one here as my first cache.  This is a small city park in a high traffic area.  Magnetic nano. BYOP. Stealth required! Watch for muggles! Congratulations to Plumb69 for FTF!

Harriman Park (From plaque at park):

This park was originally deeded to the City of Manchester by Emma S. Richards on October 31, 1905 and named East Side Park.  The park was renamed in honor of Lt. Lynn H. Harriman on May 2, 1922.  Lt. Harriman served in the 101st Infantry during World War I, was mortally wounded in action and died on May 31, 1918 earning him the French Croix de Guerre and the American Distinguished Service Cross.
