Long point was at one point a busy spot for the logging company that built the town. All along of the Banks of the Alexis River you can see evidance of an industry long gone from the area.
Now Long Point is a hot fishing spot, if you can figure out when the tide's changing, you can catch a weird assortment of fish from the old pier close to this cache. Trout, Sculpins, and even a scattered rock cod can all be caught from here, and in the winder, try your hand at smelting. All good fun.
