The Kaipatiki Project organises weeding and planting days, composting courses and many other things for the local community. They are always looking for volunteers to help out whether it is on a one off basis or more regularly.
So with the August mission set what better way to earn your smiley here then by rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in for some weeding and clearing along the Eskdale Bush reserve. This session is being held especially for us but feel free to bring others along - the more the merrier.

Meet at the Kaipatiki Project centre, 17 Lauderdale Rd, Birkdale. Parking is available on the road.
Dress warmly, wear sturdy shoes or gumboots, bring a raincoat and be prepared to get dirty. Please bring own water and snacks.
There is a BBQ that we are welcome to use afterwards so if you would like to do so please note in your 'will attend' log. Bring along your own meat and drinks and I will be happy to supply the rest
