Plenty of free parking at Burrs Country Park. There are three Sculptures within the park, The Water Wheel, Picnic Area and Stone Cycle. From the Stone Cycle take the path along the river or the path at the side of the feeder both will lead you to the cache. There are a few other caches within the Park.
Beautiful walk along the River Irwell, lots of opportunity for birdwatching, especially Kingfishers.
Great area for wildlife. Children will enjoy the freedom of the open space. Dog friendly. Nice easy to find box complete with log book, pen and swops. Lots of other caches along the way! Can get muddy in parts, not suitable for pushchairs, sorry.
