Geocache Description:

Second cache one the Burnt Corn Creek Cache Flow Trail. This trail will teach you the History of the Burnt Corn Creek in this area of Soith Alabama. 

Launch and take out sites are marked, you can chose to launch yourself for free or use local renter to help with your trip. 

Triditional cache. Kayak or Canoe is needed to reach this cache. 

The skirmish occurred during a period of increasing conflict among white settlers and various factions within the Creek Nation that would culminate in the forced removal of most Native Americans from the Southeast. Its more immediate consequence was the massacre of settlers and U.S.-allied Indians at Fort Mims.
