This cache is located in the vicinity of St PARASKEYI ANCIENT CHURCH 6th century (!). Note: Google Earth photo of church is incorrect.
The village you are looking for is called Kato (lower) Arkourdaleia and can be found from Kathikas via Pano (upper) Arkourdaleia OR a left turn from the Pafos to Polis road 1 Km before the village of Skoulli. The concrete track to the Church of St. Paraskeyi starts next to the Folk Art Museum (closed) and is well signed in Greek and English.
If you enjoy a short but stenuous hike of 1.5 Km. each way you could leave your car at the Folk Museum. There is a scenic picnic shelter 0.77 Km on the way to the Church with an interesting view of the Akourdaleia gorge.
Park at the old Church and walk back to a downhill concrete track. You should be able to hear the sound of a babbling brook. After locating the cache you could continue down the concrete road, cross the small stream to the other side of the gorge and after 200 m. discover the purpose of the building. Any guesses?
PLEASE use CAUTION near the cache site and SUPERVISE children and pets as there are UNPROTECTED DROPS into the ravine !!
Walking boots recommended in this area. Take a picnic or there is a taverna and coffee shop in Kato Akourdaleia.
