Geocache Description:

Cache number 5 is a test tube container so you will need a pen and tweezers. It is placed just a few metres from the path. Don’t climb over the fence, or you might get wet and the water is deep. You have been warned. I used to catch some lovely perch from this basin ( along time ago ). I cant believe how much it has changed. Keep an eye out for the heron on the river.

There and back, is a small series over the old Wheldon colliery. Since the Colliery was closed, this area has been very run down. But recently a regeneration project has been set up. Most of the area has been cleaned up very well and new footpaths and Walks have been set up. Wild life is returning to the area and you might find this short walk quite enjoyable. There is a mixture of caches, so BRING a pen and tweezers. The paths on this walk are very good and are ok for pushchairs. But the caches are quite difficult and to make it much more fun there will be no hints for the first couple of months. Also premium members only for the first couple of months.
