Profil toku
Na horním toku je řečiště 6-8m široké, značně kamenité. Odra protéká pěknou krajinou se spoustou vodních ptáků a s vysokými hlinitými břehy. Nejhořejší úsek protéká vojenským výcvikovým prostorem.
Řeka často meandruje v lukách mezi skalami. Od Heřmánek teče hlubokým lučinatým údolím, lemovaným lesy. Často se objevují hrázky, peřeje a padlé stromy. Pod Odrama se údolí rozevírá, řeka teče plochou krajinou a silně meandruje. U Ostravy je již tok značně znečištěn.

Využití
Západní rameno delty je využívané pro vodní dopravu, která je možná až k ústí Opavy a pro velké lodě k městu Koźle. Pomocí plavebních kanálů je spojena s řekami Havola, Spréva, Visla a Kłodnica.Za 2. světové války představovala důležitou a silnou obranou linii německé armády. Sovětská armáda v průběhu Viselsko-oderské operace v roce 1945 obsadila 1. ukrajinským frontem horní tok řeky.

K souřadnicím dojděte podle doporučeného waypointu a šup do vody :D.Krabička je zatížena na dně závážím.

V tomto období(léto),je na souši opravdu mnoho včel,tak buďte opatrní !!

On the top of the flow is riverbad six-eight metres wide,mainly stony.Odra flows throught beautiful countryside with many water birds and with the high loamy shores.Uppermost section flows through army training area
Rives often meandering between rocks and meadows.From Hermanky,river flows through deeply grassland valey lined by forests.Windrows,rapids and falled trees often appears.Below the city Odry,the valey become wider and river flows through flat countryside and strongly meandering.In the Ostava is flow deeply dirty

Utilization
The west branch of delta is using for a water traffic,which is possibly til the estuary of Opava and for a big ships to city Koźle.With the help of floating channels is river connected with rivers :Havola,Spréva,Visla and Kłodnica.During second world war represent important and strong defensive line german army.During Visla´s-Odry´s operation in 1945,soviet army occupied by a first Ukraininan front the top flow of river
