We came across this when heading out to Sundown National Park. I have looked for information but didn't find much. Below is what I did find.
BALLANDEAN Cemetery The first burial in the Ballandean Cemetery registered in Queensland took place in 1860 twelve years before the town of Stanthorpe came into existence. With the passing of the years the Ballandean Cemetery had fallen into disrepair and about the time of the Ballandean School Jubilee in 1959 concern was being felt that unless prompt action was taken even its whereabouts could be lost. The names are from a Memorial Stone and tablet at the Ballandean Cemetery.
