Our first time placing a cache. We live in Lancaster, NY and own a permanant camp site inside Moffitt Beach State Park on private property called Moonlight Bay. You can park at the Boat launch and walk to the cache. Be stealthy and considerate of the other permanant campers. You will need to walk back to Moffit Beach Road from the boat launch. THERE IS NO NEED TO GO NEAR THE PERMANANT CAMP SITES. We absolutely love this place and thought it would be a terriffic place for a first cache!
