Nan4G: After almost a decade of running Buddy's Cache, it's time to close it down. I've enjoyed holding this place for you to come and explore, and I've especially enjoyed meeting so many lovely and interesting people, but we're changing our lifestyle to travel, and I wouldn't be able to keep up with the maintenance required. Thank you fellow geocachers for your interest in Buddy's cache and for rating it so highly. I look forward to bumping into you at all of those amazing caches out there! <3 Nan4G

Geocache Description:

A fun family find in Crown Hill!

We've placed this cache in memory of our beloved dog Buddy, on the one year anniversary of his death. He was a great dog and we were lucky to have him. He brought many adventures into our lives; just as geocaching has.

You can access the cache while staying on the gravel. The cache is in plain sight - no digging or lifting required. PLEASE do NOT lift ANY wood. It won't help you find the cache and my husband is tiring of fixing the loose boards from all of the lifting. Bring TOTT (tweezers) and BYOP. There is also a bonus treasure (a bling box, if you please) about 35 feet away. You will need to take a step into the bark to reach it. Have fun!
