Geocache Description:

NZTA wants to bulldoze a highway up Takapu Valley, parallel to State Highway One, to connect Transmission Gully to the Petone to Grenada link road. There’s a lot of spin and misinformation out there about this proposed road. For more information visit: http://www.takapuvalley.org.nz/ .

All waypoints and the final are small eclipse mintws containers. Please leave these facing upside down if possible as I don't want the papers in them getting wet. Also, while you are out here why not find Where's What's Land (GC52XCG), which is just a few minutes drive up the road.

A note to all who have never driven along this road before. It is very narrow and with plenty of blind corners. All waypoints have been placed at or near to safe parking for your convenience. When finished with the final container, please leave it facing upside down, so the log book is less likely to get wet.
