CragSeeker: Multiple reasons: The park is now under new management (I went to school with the previous manager) & not maintaining the hiking trails as well, making it hard for even me to gain access to my cache. Yes, the hike can be strenuous, even for me to check a maintain twice a year. During HOT summer days, if you live outside of Whatcom county, you must pay a fee to park in the park. And for anybody reading this...the hidden theme is... The Cache Overlooks RYAN STILE's home on the lake. This last part I will delete in the near future. CragSeeker.

Geocache Description:

Ammo can with sort-of TV & Movies theme. You don't need to exchange with the theme, but the box will be maintained with some theme items. Eventually you will be doing some hiking uphill via a trail. Cache is located at the Lk. Samish County Park, Bellingham, WA.

1- FIND THE PAYPHONE. Take the year, found over the payphone & subtract 1859. Add this to the Latitude, & Subtract 1961 from same year & add result to Longitude for corrected coordinates to cache. More info is in the box, as to the name 'STARS' cache. NOTE: During the HOT summer days the park is jammed with swimmers. Parking is at a premium of $4(off season now, no charge) dollars for residents outside Whatcom County. On cooler, cloudy days, parking is free. Parking is only allowed in the park. All other areas are patrolled.
