BEAUTIFUL KALIMNA
This is a quick cache and the first one we have hidden. We found this spot while walking through the new Kalimna Estate and Primary School. Watch out for Little Muggles as there is a playground close by and its always busy.
"As trees and bushland have made way for development the feeding habitats of native fauna like the endangered Black Cockatoo have come under threat. At Australand we believe in responsible development and that's why we are commited to a substantial re-vegetation programme. Our aim is to create a green wildlife corridor that runs from east to west through Kalimna, linking the estate with the adjoining Bush Forever site. We will be supplementing existing vegetation with native plants. By restoring the natural biodiversity of the area. We will increase the feeding and breeding habitat for our native animals. We want Kalimna to be a green place to live for all creatures great and small."
