Geocache Description:

There are other structures like this one close by but this one is the only one that holds a cache to log. Be sure to enjoy the view. This cache is accessible from the street. Wait on the passing train before attempting.

This cache will bring you in the vicinity of one of nicest campgrounds in Montana.  It is with the campgrounds owners permission that this cache is here. If you have time or if you are looking for some Montana items feel free to stop at the Gift Shop in the campground office. If you are RVing then this is a very nice and quite place to get some rest off the road or as a base camp for seeing the surrounding area and attractions.  It is located in White Sulphur Springs a few blocks off Hwy 89.  Enjoy the views of the mountains.  The mountains to the North are the Little Belt mountains, to the East are the Castle mountains, to the South are the Crazy and Bridger mountains and to the West are the Big Belt mountains.  A beautiful sunset almost every evening.  There is a lot of history in this old mining town.  The mining of gold, silver and copper plus 5 saw mills provided a bustling economy for this area in the late 1800's.  White Sulphur Springs use to be the winter location of the Ringling Brothers Circus.  The Ringling house still stands a couple of blocks North.  The area is now mostly ranching. Congrats to wapiti mt for FTF.
