We've spent time in both the Peck Road side of Shamona Creek park and the Dowlin Forge side. We figured that the two sides of the park must meet somewhere in between. Between the two parks is a path along Shamona Creek. If you park at the Peck Road entrance, you'll have to cross the creek using some stepping stones. If you park at the Dowlin Forge side, you won't have to cross the stream, and you shouldn't get wet unless you want to. On a nice day, it's lovely to wade in the stream. Warning - there is poison ivy near the cache site.
Dowlin Forge side - there's a path through the woods by the volleyball courts.
Peck Road side - keep walking along the stream until you see the stepping stones - the cache isn't far from there!
