Seaton Creek Historic Preserve
This cache was originally part of the 2014 JaxParks Challenge.
Since Geocaching and parks kind of go hand in hand, we decided to keep this cache around for you to continue to enjoy!!

Follow the instructions below to locate what you seek.
Letterbox Instructions:
Starting at the posted coordinates, you will find yourself at the beginning of the trail into Seaton Creek Historic Preserve. There are many twists and turns along the way, but the path to the cache is as easy as reaching the Land of Oz. Simply follow the "yellow brick" road to your destination, which is about 3/4 of a mile as the crow flies. Of course, you're neither crow nor winged monkey, so you'll have to wind your way in for a little over a mile. Make sure to count ALL the arrows at each fork along the way. When you reach the intersection with 8 arrows (4 yellow and 4 white) you will know you're close to what you seek. Turn to a 90 degree bearing and follow the trail for about 130' to reach the final cache location. As with any good treasure hunt, "X" marks the spot.
Inside of the cache you will find a stamp and an ink pad. Please do not remove these items as they are an essential part of the letterbox hybrid.
Park History
A beautiful 800+ acre preserve located near Thomas Creek in northern Duval County. The preserve has 5 miles of trails through pristine marshes and near meandering creeks. It's a great place for hikers, off-road bikers, and equestrian and wildlife enthusiasts.
