A little different kind of cache located very near a gate into the Prince Edward Island National Park; Stanhope Campground. Access by driving to the end of Blanchard Lane and use parking coordinates to find the cache. Stealth is required. Please replace cache exactly as found.
For 34 years my mom camped with her children, grandchildren, and extended family at Stanhope Campground; before she passed away. The family continues the tradition and this summer was our second summer without her. She loved PEI. This cache is dedicated to our mom. The location is very near a popular trail that led from close to her annual campsite to the local campground convenience store, "Beachcombers." Unfortunately the store is gone, but the building and trail still remains.
