While attending GeoBash Week I decided to place a cache. I kept passing this park on my way caching so figured this would be a nice area, took out my GPS and noticed a nearby cache so I ventured away from that cache, around a ball field found a nice spot. As I placed the container I happen to look around the area and noticed a Marble Town. You don't need to go in or park in the Marble Town to access this cache.
The cache is placed in Bill Laston Memorial Field: The write up about the field from Town of Lanesborough webpage.
Bill Laston Park
Bill Laston Park is dedicated to the memory of William Edward Laston. Bill was a role model in the community who loved the outdoors and sports. After Bill’s passing in 2002, the community organized several fundraisers in order to start a memorial park that the whole Town could enjoy. Today, Bill Laston Memorial Park is a beautiful recreational park with a fantastic baseball field that has only been made possible through generous contributions and donations from our community. As we move forward, we encourage community involvement in Bill Laston Memorial Park and reach out for donations by the community to continue to improve and make our Park special.
I hope you take a minute and enjoy the park and scenery
Watch out for muggles especially on game nights and other Community events. Please no night caching to respect the Marble Town
