I det svenska teckenspråket för döva finns det ett antal genuina tecken som representerar förstärkningsord. Ett genuint tecken har en egen munrörelse. Pi är ett sådant förstärkningsord och betyder: verkligen, väldigt, mycket.
Tecknet visas med handen framåtriktad, nedåtvänd, förs nedåt med distinkt rörelseslut. Samtidigt som tecknet visas görs "Pi" med munrörelse. Det finns 120 teckenspråk i världen och det finns dessutom ett internationellt handalfabet för bokstavering.
Tecknet för Pi finns avbildat som ett konstverk på en fasadvägg till studentboendet Jakten i Halmstad. Målningen skapades av graffitikonstnären Carolina Falkholt 2013. Ta dig till platsen för att se den detaljrika målningen Pi. Därefter hoppas jag verkligen att du hittar cachen.
