Dear Cacher,
I have travelled far and wide on my journeys Geocaching, to far and distant lands and witnessing sights and wonders that one cannot describe in writing alone, that one truly needs to see with ones own eyes. I am fascinated by the natural world, in search of new sights and adventure, exploring the unknown. I cache alone with my trusty canine companion Parker, taking photographs, writing in my field journal and collecting evidence in my quest. I am still unsure whether I will ever find the truth, whether my mind has played tricks on me or whether planet earth is still truly unexplored. Over the past 50 years I travelled the globe to 8 locations I believed to be of significant importance, for which I share the coordinates below. Finding their locations and significance will assist you greatly here.
Each of these will help you locate the final location to which I have placed a cache to commemorate my quest. Once you have found the name associated with each location, use simple A=1, Z=26 to convert, and then add the sum of each string until you get a single digit.

Stay safe out there cachers, Bernie Heuvelmans.
