Geocache Description:

This is a nice cache and dash type stop, it started with a travel bug that we have picked up which is already on a journey. We've loved geocaching so much that we felt it was time we set our own. Cache is a small tin box aprox 10x10cm, in a green stash sack, with enough space for a few small collectables and the occasion traveller. Started with a pen so please leave for others to sign with. Don't go "too fast" or you'll shoot right by it.

Taddiport is a great little village in the heart of North Devon. With the Torridge River nearby, this is a great llittle venture up into Taddiport, Old Leper Country, with a Leper Church and Hospital/museum to visit. Theres plenty of parking in and around the cache or its a short diversion off of a great walk along the Torridge. Easily accessable for wheelchairs from the road. Why not stop off up in Torrington, have a coffee and some lunch in the 1646 museum where you will get  a great view of Taddieport, the Leper fields and the Torridge.
