Geocache Description:

The cache is located off a forest service road that dead ends just past the cache.  There are no views here, but it is a quiet location, perfect for stretching the geodog's legs. If you have time, there are quite a few caches in the area ranging from serious climbs/hikes to basic park and grabs.

The cache is located a short distance off a dirt road in a sage brush and grass meadow.  Depending on the time of year, there could be cattle milling about, so watch your step!  The cache is a camoed lock and lock container filled with a variety of trade items.  Please replace carefully so the cattle don't step on it.

Labor Day: How it Came About; What it Means

"Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country." - U.S. Department of Labor
