Tutaj wychodza szlaki na Granaty-najniebezpieczniejszy łańcuch górski w Tatrach.
Do schroniska można dotrzeć od Kuźnic jedną z dwóch dolin lub Dolina Suchej Wody, lub od Równi Waksmundzkiej, lub schodząc z wyższych parti gór.
