Where's Chick - The exceptional log Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

cooley1103: I came out to check on the hide, and unfortunately the holding container is no longer viable. The holding container was a portion of a log from a tree that I cut out of my backyard. I then drilled a cylinder sized hole into the end of the log that was large enough to hold a waterproof container I had gotten from Sue Kelly. Once at Ground Zero I found the physical container lying out in the open and was able to find the holding device and its original spot however nature had taken hold and the log was disintegrating. I love the idea of this hide and it did a really nice thing for lots of Finders, however it is run its course and it's time to open up this land

Geocache Description:

The following is a recount of a translated message that Chick left me before heading out on her latest adventure.

Chick had recently seen a log that drew her attention.  The log told the story of a cacher who found a park he had never known was there.  The cacher made a wrong turn while trying to get to another cache.

So she was going to set out on a walk to find this park.  She felt that the log held some ideas of a secret treasure because why would the other cacher go out of his way to mention the park unless he was trying lead you there to find it.  So she was going to set out and check the park and see if the log really meant what she thought it would.

Cache hide:  The physical container is big enough to hold small swag and maybe a small trackable too.
