Michael and Katherine Hartshorne were killed in a car accident in 1992, while riding home in their family's mini-van from the Mt. Pleasant Summer Festival (then called the Energy Fest). The van was hit by a car going down a residential road at 78 mph. Michael was 8 and loved bows and arrows, fishing, and his friends. Katie was 15 months old, and had taken her first steps the day she died. Please stop by this beautiful spot where their cremains are buried, along with their stuffed animals, and think about their family. Even though it's been 22 years, it is still very painful for them.
