The devil finds work for idle hands, and lately I've found just a bit of time on my hands. You may think you have your hands full, but remember that this old hand wanted you to keep your hands off! I try to keep a firm hand on the tiller, so I hid it without anyone to lend a hand. Before you reject this out of hand, just hand over the reins to your imagination. There's no need to go hand-over-hand or go searching for handholds, just remember to have one hand for yourself and the other for the ship - think before you act so that things don't get out of hand - don't risk dying by your own hand!
If you have your hands full and are racking up DNF's hand over fist I'll probably be willing to lend a hand. If you're looking for a handout, even if you come to me cap in hand, I won't hand it over.
Many hands make light work, but I could still do this alone with one hand tied behind my back.
