The solution to finding this cache involves the use of a special tool in order to retrieve the cache which can be found 18' - 20' away from the tool's hiding spot.
A short stroll down a small deer trail that leads away from the cement hike and bike trail should take you to a cluster of several upright Yaupon bushes approximately 2" to 4" in diameter. A special tool has been placed within that cluster, a tool designed from natural material to be tapered and relatively long, but material that is out-of-place in this specific area's environment. Retrieve the tool and walk approximately 18 feet in a northeast direction and look for an object whose placement should be obvious given the configuration of the tool. The cache approximates a regular in size, but the device holding the log is a micro (thus no room for a pen or SWAG). Please replace the cache and special tool as found. Parking should be available along the wide shoulder of Research Forest Drive or along one of the near-by side streets. Congratulations to bandskelly, both for the FTF and for achieving a full year of finding at least one cache per day over that period.
