Geocache Description:


El Parque Metropolitano Guanguiltagua, tiene una extensión de 557 hectáreas y es un atractivo turístico dentro de la ciudad de Quito ya que es posible observar más de diez especies de colibríes y setenta especies de aves en el lugar.

Está ubicado a 2.890 msnm y registra una temperatura media de 11 °C.

Luego de una caminata por el sendero que lleva al Mirador “Cotopaxi” encontramos este hermoso lugar lleno de Pinos, uno de los Árboles Patrimoniales de la ciudad, y un buen lugar para dejar este caché.


The Guanguiltagua Metropolitan Park, covers an area of 557 hectares and is a tourist attraction in the city of Quito as it is possible to observe more than ten species of hummingbirds and seventy species of birds in the area.

It is located 2,890 meters above sea level and has an average temperature of 11 ° C.

After a walk along the path that leads to Mirador "Cotopaxi" found this beautiful place full of Pines, one of the Heritage Trees of the city, and a good place to leave this cache.
