This location signifies an important day in my life. It was when I was still in High School, and had just learned to drive.
One morning, as I was going to work in my brother's car, I decided I needed to fiddle with the cassette tape while going around this corner. My back tires started skidding a little, and being inexperienced, I over corrected the skid and ended up driving right into the ditch. The back end of the car ended up facing he direction I was originally heading, and the car was upside down. If you have never been in an upside down car, it is quite an experience.
I had to roll the window down (which was actually up) to get out of the car. When I had the window open, there was a fence there so I couldn't get out anyway. So, I had to roll down (up) the other window to get out.
As I made my way to the road, I looked back at the car. Then, I noticed that the music was still playing. I just walked away and left it playing.
So, the sherriff was called, reports filed, and buts chewed. Then I decided it was time to get to work. I borrowed my other brother's car, and heading out the driveway (adjusting the radio) I drove it into the ditch right in our driveway.
Needless to say, after that I was instructed to drive my bike to work from then on.
