Geocache Description:

This is another cache in the Faded Markers Series. This series will mainly focus on older, near forgotten burial plots of pioneers in the Niagara Region and beyond. The goal of this series is not necessarily the length of the walk nor the difficulty of the find, but rather a simple reverence for those who came before us to shape our area.

Originally owned by Henry Miller and then his brother, Jacob. Several Miller family members are buried at this site. The Miller family gave the Willoughby Township the right of way to the property in 1964 and requested the Township to take over the maintenance of the family cemetery.

Some of the Miller's and their relatives who are interred in this cemetary are as follows:

Jacob Miller (preacher) Born 1772 Died 1841
Barabara Hershey (wife) Born 1771 Died 1840
