Phill 'er Up Motel Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

KiQit: We decided to go out on this unseasonably warm November day to check on the hides only to find most of them missing. :( We looked all over and couldn't find it either, just like the logs have been saying.

Sorry about the delay on checking on this. If anyone is interested in the location, I'm archiving it for your availability. Thanks for caching here!

Geocache Description:

Looking for a place to drop a travel bug?  Welcome to the Phill 'er Up Travel Bug Motel.  We've picked up trackables before and then didn't find a place to put them, some place large enough anyway.  We decided it was time to put one along Highway 34.

This is the Frank Phillips Visitor's Center in Creston, Iowa.  I'm not sure what the hours are, but they will open by appointment, if need be.  There is some neat history inside, and free coffee.  This is also the place for the Union County Liberty Rock. I didn't get pictures of the rock because it wasn't painted when I placed the cache, but it is painted now. You'll want to check that out.

You're looking for a large geocache container.  There's a log book and pencil and a zippered Bag O' Swag.  Drop a travel bug for a visit or take one out for a ride.
