Geocache Description:

Der Cache führt euch in die Nähe des erst vor kurzem erbauten und eingeweihten Beobachtungsturms Nord "Fliegender Kranich". Nicht umsonst bekam der Turm diesen Namen, denn die Form ist einem fliegenden Kranich nachempfunden. Wenn ihr Lust habt, die Stufen zu erklimmen, dann habt ihr von dort oben nicht nur eine wunderbare Aussicht, sondern ihr könnt auch viele Kraniche und andere Vögel beobachten. Besonders im Herbst sammeln sich an vielen anderen Orten in der Uckermark tausende Kraniche zur Rast, um sich vor ihrer langen Reise in den Süden zu stärken. Mit etwas Glück und einem Fernglas könnt ihr hier in den angrenzenden Gewässern Kraniche an ihrem Schlafplatz beobachten.

Ihr befindet euch im Naturschutzgebiet. Die offiziellen Wege müssen zu keiner Zeit verlassen werden.
