Geocache Description:


The famous route 111, is a scenic road connecting the cities of Patra and Tripoli. Its length is 170km and crosses many beautifull places and villages of central Peloponnisos.

The cache is located in a peaceful place of the route, Foloi's Forest, that you can rest for a while during your journey.

Foloi's Forest took its name from Greek Mythology, from the King of Centaurs, Folos, friend of Hercules.

In that place, Hercules has been directed to chase the boar of Erymanthus in his forth labor. King Folos, died by an accident, as he was perusing Hercules arrows, that was dipped in the poisonous blood of Lernaean Hydra.
