Whilst some have undertaken to give an account of the esteemed Dublin Rubber Company, we at Rub-a-Dub feel compelled to set the record straight, and to ask for your help.

Many years ago, when Rub-a-dub was still in its infancy, we had a vast rubber empire, headquarted right where you are standing. This company was founded by the redoubtable Mr Bass O'Cantor, a native of Dublin, who had come to America seeking his fortune.

The company was very prosperous, and supplied rubber to many of the factories in these parts. Alas, this was not to last long. For in the late 1800's, a grave misfortune befell our field supervisor, Mr. Hiram Rebbur. Without going into the grisly details, Mr Rebbur fell into the rubber vulcanizing unit, and he has never been seen from again!  We beseech all searchers to try to find what may be left of Mr. Rebbur.
