Valle Vista is a Golf Course Community on Route 66 begun in 1972. The land was part of the 35th parallel surveyed by Lieutenant Beale as he passed through while building a wagon road using his pack animals "The Camels". This cache is part of the Historic Arizona Route 66 Centenial Geocaching Series, an Arizona Centenial Legacy Project. www.az66geocaching.com
