Geocache Description:

Second in a series in the Valle Vista development.

Lt. Beale crossed here looking for water while looking out over what is now Kingman, AZ.  Running out of water he stopped and sent "The Camels" to search.  Mr. Bishop, founder of Bishop, CA, had told Beale that springs were in the area.  This location is the only land on his route that is owned by the Valle Vista Property Owners Association.

This geocache is part of the Historic Arizona Route 66 Centennial Geocaching Series and the Arizona Centennial Project.  www.az66geocaching.com
