Years ago, my dad told me the cheapest gas along 395 for hundreds of miles was in Independence. So on that trip South, I looked and looked and looked for the gas station in Independence with the cheap gas and could not find it. So I was sure he was wrong! Then when I saw him 4 hours later, he proved me wrong via the internet. So on our return trip that week, we found the station.
